Demon Slayer Game: Who Gets To Play? (And My Hot Takes!)

Okay, let's talk Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles. Fun game, right? But the real question: who actually gets to beat up demons as a playable character?

We've got the obvious choices, naturally. But some character inclusions...and exclusions...leave me scratching my head. Prepare for some slightly spicy opinions.

The Main Crew: Slayer Powerhouse

First off, Tanjiro Kamado is a must. Duh! He's the star. We get different versions of him, too, like his Water Breathing style and his Hinokami Kagura form. More Tanjiro is always better, right?

Then there's Nezuko Kamado. Adorable and deadly. I love playing as her, bouncing around and kicking demon butt. Who doesn't love a demon sister who still cares for her brother?

Our favorite scaredy-cat, Zenitsu Agatsuma, is in! When he's asleep, he's a total beast. But awake? Well, let's just say I enjoy the irony of his powerful slumbering state.

And we can't forget Inosuke Hashibira! Boar head and all. His dual-wielding swords are just plain cool. He is the most aggressive and entertaining character to play.

The Pillars: Hashira Hotshots

The Hashira are where things get interesting. We’ve got a good chunk of them. They're all super powerful and fun to play as.

Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, is here. Stoic and strong. He is probably the most serious of all the characters.

Then there's Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira. Her fighting style is so graceful. But deadly, of course. It’s a really unique way to take down demons.

And who could forget Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira? His moves are fiery and epic. His spirit will always burn bright!

We also get Sabito and Makomo, Tanjiro's mentors. It’s cool to see them in action. They both are important character and their story is very captivating.

Don't forget Murata. Yes, seriously. Murata, the background character! Okay, I'm not complaining, but it's definitely...a choice. Why him?

Arc Specific Characters: Entertainment District

The Entertainment District arc gave us some cool additions. These characters are very unique and enjoyable.

We get Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira! Flashy and powerful. He really brings out the entertainment.

And of course, we can't forget Daki and Gyutaro! Playing as these demons is so fun! This is the kind of antagonist people want to play.

My Unpopular Opinion: Where's Tamayo?

Okay, here’s where I get controversial. Where is Tamayo? She is such an important character in the series. She helps Tanjiro so much.

I think she could have a really interesting fighting style. Maybe using her blood demon art in a support role. A missed opportunity, in my opinion.

Also, more demons in general would have been awesome! Imagine playing as Rui or Akaza! Just throwing it out there.

Overall, the roster is pretty solid. But a few tweaks could have made it perfect. What do you think? Agree? Disagree? Let me know!
