All Hunter X Hunter Arcs In Order

Okay, let's talk Hunter x Hunter arcs. We all love them, right? But some are definitely more equal than others. Let's dive in and see where your favorite (and least favorite) lands on my totally unbiased, definitely-not-controversial list.
The Hunter Exam Arc: A Classic Start
This is where it all begins! Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio... what a squad. The Hunter Exam is full of quirky challenges and even quirkier characters.
Honestly, though? It's good, but a little slow at times. Maybe I'm just impatient.
Must Read
Zoldyck Family Arc: Creepy Crawlies and Family Drama
Next up, the Zoldyck Family Arc. This is where Killua's family becomes seriously messed up. Giant dogs? Check. Torture chambers? Double check!
It's got some great moments, especially Killua standing up for himself. But, compared to what's coming, it's just a stepping stone.

Heaven's Arena Arc: Nen 101
Time for some training! The Heaven's Arena Arc introduces us to Nen, the power system that makes Hunter x Hunter so unique. We get to see Gon and Killua level up!
This arc is a fun, action-packed interlude. Not the most groundbreaking story-wise, but necessary.
Yorknew City Arc: Revenge and Mayhem
Here comes the good stuff! The Yorknew City Arc is a masterpiece of suspense and moral ambiguity. Kurapika's quest for revenge against the Phantom Troupe is gripping.

Plus, we meet some seriously cool villains. This is where the show really finds its groove.
Greed Island Arc: Video Games and More Nen Training
Welcome to Greed Island, a virtual reality video game! Gon and Killua continue their training, facing increasingly dangerous opponents. Bisky is iconic!
Some people love this arc, but for me, it drags a little. The power-ups feel a bit too convenient at times. Unpopular opinion, I know.

Chimera Ant Arc: Dark and Disturbing
Brace yourselves. The Chimera Ant Arc is a wild ride into darkness. These ant-human hybrids are terrifying, and the moral complexities are intense.
This arc is long, yes, but it's unforgettable. The character development is phenomenal. However, all the narrations could be annoying.
Election Arc: Picking a Chairman
After the chaos of the Chimera Ant Arc, we have the Election Arc. Picking a new chairman for the Hunter Association might sound boring, but it's surprisingly compelling.

Killua has to save Gon. Politics and family drama combined! The arc has also introduced some interesting characters.
