A Million Little Things Season 4 Episode 4

Okay, let's talk A Million Little Things. Season 4, Episode 4. Remember that one? "Pinocchio."
It had some moments. But honestly, it wasn't my fave. I'm ready to dive in. Maybe I have some unpopular opinions here. Let's see.
Gary's Guilt Trip?
So, Gary is stressing, right? About Liam and his dad. He feels responsible. Classic Gary, always feeling everything for everyone.
Must Read
But was it a little much? Maybe? I love him, but the guilt was strong. Was he overstepping? I'm just asking.
Sophie's Storyline
Sophie is trying to find her way. Good for her, finding her voice. It's hard to go your own way.
Her relationship with Gary is strained. The whole situation with Peter Benoit still casts a shadow. Understandably, of course.
Sometimes her character feels a little...underdeveloped. Like they give her these intense moments. Then forget about them the next episode.

Maggie and the Ex
Here's where my unpopular opinion might come in. Maggie's ex, Cam. He pops back up.
Honestly, I wasn't thrilled. Did we really need him back? I thought we were done. I prefer Maggie with Gary, thanks.
Their history felt... unresolved. Which I guess is the point? But still.
Regina's Restaurant
Regina's restaurant is struggling. It seems like the restaurant is always in crisis mode. That's small business life, I guess.

She is trying to navigate being a good friend and a businesswoman. Tough balance. Gotta admire her hustle, though.
Eddie's Recovery
Eddie is making progress! His recovery is actually inspiring to watch. Little steps, but moving forward.
He is working on himself, and his relationships. It is never easy. But he is trying!
His scenes felt the most genuine in this episode. Maybe because he was focusing on himself.

Overall Feelings
This episode felt a little scattered. Too many storylines crammed in. I know, that's the show's thing, but still.
A Million Little Things is known for its drama. But sometimes it feels like manufactured drama.
The writers are good at pulling at the heartstrings. They do a good job with emotion. I will give them that.
Did anyone else feel this way? Or am I alone on this island? Let me know! Because the show is all about connecting, right?

Ultimately, it wasn't a bad episode. Just not a standout. Some good character moments sprinkled in. But nothing earth-shattering.
I am still watching though! I am in for the long haul. I need to know how these stories end. I'm invested. Even if I complain a little.
Bring on the next episode. Hopefully, it will have more laughs and less manufactured drama.
