A Million Little Things Season 2 Episode 17

Okay, let's talk A Million Little Things. Specifically, Season 2, Episode 17, "One Year Later." You know, the one where everyone's dealing with, well, everything.
I've got a confession. I have some thoughts, and they might be controversial. Prepare yourselves.
Eddie's Mess
Eddie's still struggling, right? Surprise, surprise! He’s always struggling, isn’t he?
Must Read
His addiction is a major plot point. But sometimes I find myself rolling my eyes. Is he ever going to get his act together?
I know, I know, addiction is serious. But the drama gets a little…stale sometimes. Anyone else feel that way?
Katherine's Patience (or Lack Thereof)
Katherine is a saint. Seriously. Putting up with Eddie? She deserves a medal.
She's trying so hard to make their marriage work. Even after all the lies and secrets.

But honestly, a part of me is screaming, "Girl, run!" Find someone who appreciates you!
Delilah's Dilemma (Again)
Oh, Delilah. Always at the center of the drama tornado. Someone needs to make a t-shirt for her.
She's dealing with Charlie and her secret, but also managing the other kids. Talk about pressure!
And Gary's there, trying to be supportive (sort of). Bless his heart.
Gary's...Everything
Speaking of Gary, is he the glue holding everyone together? He's always there to help.

He's goofy, and sometimes annoying, but ultimately, he's a good friend. He's the comic relief this show desperately needs.
Honestly, I think he needs to take a vacation. A long one. Maybe to a remote island with no drama.
Maggie's Journey
Maggie's dealing with her own stuff, as always. Cancer survivor guilt, anyone?
She's trying to figure out her life, post-cancer and post-Gary. It's a messy process.

And is it me, or does she get a new haircut every other episode? Not complaining, just observing.
Rome's Struggles
Rome continues to be the most grounded of the group. Except when he's not.
His mental health journey is always compelling to watch. And Regina is so supportive of him.
They make a great team. Even when things get really, really tough.
Unpopular Opinion Time!
Here's my unpopular opinion about this episode (and maybe the whole show): Sometimes, the drama feels forced.

Like, they're trying too hard to create conflict. It makes it hard to connect to the characters.
It's still a good show overall. But sometimes, I wish they'd just let everyone be happy for five minutes.
The Verdict
Season 2, Episode 17 is a typical A Million Little Things episode. Full of drama, tears, and questionable decisions.
It makes you feel things, that's for sure. Whether those feelings are good or bad is another story.
But hey, at least we can all agree on one thing: We'll probably keep watching. Because we're all suckers for a good drama.
