A Million Little Things Season 1 Episode 8

Okay, let's talk A Million Little Things. Specifically, Season 1, Episode 8, titled "Fight or Flight." Remember that one? It’s the episode where secrets are swirling faster than my morning coffee.
Everyone's got a problem. Or several. And honestly? Sometimes it feels like they're just competing to see who has the most dramatic life.
Delilah's Secret Life
Delilah, oh Delilah. She's still dealing with the fallout from John's death, right? But also, she's keeping a HUGE secret about Charlie. It’s a bombshell, and it drops right in the middle of everything else.
Must Read
Unpopular opinion time: I kind of get why she was keeping it. Okay, before you grab your pitchforks, hear me out! John just died. Adding 'Oh, and by the way, I was having an affair' to the grief pile? Yikes.
Still, the secret-keeping is what drives everyone crazy. And honestly, with a group of friends like that, secrets never stay buried for long.
Eddie's Struggles and Regina's Heart
Then there's Eddie. He's trying to stay sober, but it's a constant battle. He wants to be a better person. It’s a relatable struggle. We've all got our own battles, right?

And Regina! She's dealing with her own past traumas and also trying to keep the restaurant afloat. She's a rock. Seriously. She's got a good head on her shoulders.
I really feel for her. It's not easy running a business, especially with all the drama swirling around their friend group.
The Friends Helping (or Hindering?)
Gary is trying to be the supportive friend. He's always there with a bad joke and a semi-helpful pep talk. Gotta love Gary. He is Gary.

Rome is trying to find his purpose. He's struggling with depression, and it's a raw and honest portrayal. The show deals with these serious issues in a way that actually feels real.
But sometimes, the friends are too involved. It's like, back off a little, guys! Let people breathe! It’s good to be there for someone, but smothering someone isn’t the way.
The Flight or Fight Response
The title of the episode is "Fight or Flight." And that's exactly what everyone's doing. They're either facing their problems head-on (fighting), or running away from them (flight). It’s pretty appropriate, don't you think?

Delilah tries to run. Eddie tries to fight (his addiction). Regina is mostly fighting to keep everything together. It's a messy, complicated dance. And this is what makes us tune in week after week.
My other unpopular opinion? Sometimes, running away is the right choice. At least for a little while. Everyone needs a break from the drama now and then!
Overall Thoughts
This episode is peak A Million Little Things. Secrets, struggles, and a whole lot of feelings. The show is like a emotional roller coaster that you can't quite get off, even if you want to. I feel like the drama is like a car crash. It is messy. It is ugly. Yet, you can't look away.

And honestly? That's why we watch. To see ourselves reflected in their messy, imperfect lives. And to feel a little less alone in our own.
What do you think? Am I being too harsh? Or are you secretly agreeing with me? I want to know.
A Million Little Things is just a perfect drama that brings out the waterworks every time. No wonder we all keep watching. Despite all the secrets and struggles, it's the friendship that ultimately matters.
