A Game That Can T Be Won Only Played

Okay, unpopular opinion time. I think life is a game. But not the fun kind with clear rules and a winner.
It's more like...that one board game you found in your grandma's attic. The one with missing pieces and instructions written in a language you don't understand.
The Rules? Good Luck Figuring Them Out
Seriously, what are the rules of life anyway? Be good? Work hard? Be happy?
Must Read
Those sound less like rules and more like suggestions from a self-help book that also sells essential oils.
Every time you think you've got it figured out, BAM! Life throws you a curveball. Like finding out that kale smoothies are actually terrible.
No Winning, Just Playing (Badly)
Here's the kicker: you can't win. Not really. You can accumulate stuff, achieve goals, even find that perfect avocado toast.
But at the end, it all goes back to the cosmic game box. Dust to dust, and all that jazz.

So, if we can't win, what's the point? That's where the "playing" comes in.
Embrace the Chaos, My Friends
Think of it like this: you're stuck on a chaotic, never-ending playground. Might as well have some fun, right?
Swing high, build sandcastles that will inevitably get stomped on by toddlers, and maybe even push someone else on the swings.
Just don't take it too seriously. Seriously.

The High Score? Enjoyment. (Maybe?)
If there's a "high score" in this unwinnable game, I'd argue it's enjoyment.
Finding joy in the little things, even when the big things are crumbling around you. Like finding a matching pair of socks. That's a win in my book!
Or, you know, mastering the art of parallel parking.
Level Up Your Perspective
Once you accept that you can't win life, it gets oddly freeing.
You stop stressing about comparing yourself to other players (who are probably cheating anyway).

And you start focusing on your own gameplay. What makes you happy? What makes you feel alive?
Cheat Codes? Kindness and Coffee.
Okay, maybe not cheat codes. But kindness goes a long way. Being nice to others is like giving yourself a temporary power-up.
Plus, it makes the playground a little less…playground-y.
And coffee? Coffee is definitely a cheat code. Or at least a very strong power-up.

So, Play On!
Look, I'm not saying life isn't hard. It's definitely unfair, confusing, and sometimes downright frustrating.
But it's also beautiful, surprising, and full of moments worth savoring.
So, embrace the chaos. Find your joy. And remember, it's a game you can't win, only play. And maybe, just maybe, that's the point. Cheers!
Just try not to rage quit, okay?
PS: I'm convinced taxes are the ultimate level boss. Good luck!
