A Certain Magical Index World War 3

Okay, let's talk World War 3 in A Certain Magical Index. Was it epic? Sure. Was it… good? That’s where things get spicy.
I know, I know. Sacrilege! Everyone loves WW3. Massive battles! Touma punching gods! But hear me out.
So Much Traveling!
First off, the globe-trotting. One minute they're in Russia, the next England, then…somewhere else equally far away. It was exhausting just watching it.
Must Read
Did anyone else feel like they needed a map and a travel itinerary just to keep up? I get it, the world's at war. But maybe pick a continent and stick with it?
Character Overload!
Then there's the sheer number of characters. New faces popping up every five minutes. It was like the writer decided to throw in every single character they'd ever created.
Remember that time someone spent three episodes explaining their backstory and then immediately got blown up? Yeah, me neither, because they were character #743!

Honestly, I started to feel bad for Touma. He had to remember everyone's name and motivation while simultaneously saving the world.
The Plot…Thingy
Speaking of saving the world… what exactly was the plot again? Something about angels, and magic, and science, and… politics?
It felt like they kept adding layers of plot until it became a delicious but overly complicated onion. You peel one layer, and another weirder one is underneath.

By the end, I was just nodding along and hoping Touma would punch something really hard.
Touma's Punching Power
Don't get me wrong, Touma punching things is awesome. It's his signature move. Imagine Breaker goes brrr...
But even the punch gets a little old after, say, the 700th time? At least he had some variety of opponents to deal with, each with their own way of being punchable.
Also, how does his hand not fall off? Plot armor, I guess!

Unpopular Opinion Time
Okay, here's the real kicker. I think some of the smaller arcs in A Certain Magical Index are better. I said it!
Give me a focused story with a handful of characters and a clear goal. World War 3 felt like they tried to cram five seasons into one.
Maybe less is more? Just a thought.

Am I Alone?
Look, I still enjoyed World War 3 on some level. It had some genuinely epic moments. Index did her thing... for a bit.
But sometimes I wonder if the series would have been stronger with a more streamlined and concise world war.
So, am I the only one who feels this way? Or is there anyone else out there who thinks WW3 was a bit... messy?
Let me know in the comments. But please, be gentle. I'm just a humble fan with an unpopular opinion.
