Anyone else feel like we're stuck in a never-ending episode of "The Great British Wait?" We’re all stirring our tea, sighing dramatically, and wondering if Sky TV even remembers we exist. I mean, seriously!
We see the Americans tweeting about it, meme-ing about it, and generally being all smug about having seen it months ago. I'm starting to feel some serious TV envy. Is that even a thing?

Now, I know Sky has a lot on its plate. Premier League, fancy documentaries, that show your aunt keeps recommending. But come on! Prioritize!

I keep refreshing the Sky website. Each time, it’s the same disappointment. It’s the TV equivalent of checking the fridge for snacks and finding only wilted lettuce. Depressing.
The Unpopular Opinion (Prepare Yourselves)
Here's my unpopular opinion: I wouldn't even be that mad if they released it on a streaming service. Netflix, Amazon Prime… I’m not picky. Give the people what they want!
Just thinking out loud. Don't @ me. But seriously, are we all collectively held hostage by Sky here? I mean, I'm not cancelling my subscription. Not yet, anyway.
I will say this, though. I really love their nature docs, but my heart wants some Texas-sized drama right now.

The internet, of course, is awash with theories. Everything from “it’s coming next week!” to “it’s been delayed indefinitely due to a rogue tumbleweed." Okay, I made that last one up.
But seriously, finding a real, reliable answer is like searching for a needle in a haystack. A very dramatic, explosion-filled haystack, perhaps.
I've even considered learning American sign language and moving to the States just to watch it. Dedication, people! Dedication!
The Plea (With Added Begging)
So, Sky TV, if you're reading this (and I sincerely hope you are), please, PLEASE give us a date! We're all going a little bit stir-crazy waiting.
We need our dose of Rob Lowe charm. We need the emotional rollercoaster of the rescues. We need the sassy one-liners and the dramatic cliffhangers.
Consider this my official plea, bordering on a politely worded demand. Just tell us when we can expect 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3. Pretty please with a cherry on top (and maybe a bonus episode)?
Until then, I'll be here, glued to my telly, re-watching seasons one and two, and dreaming of the day Owen Strand graces my screen again. And probably eating too much tea and biscuits. It's a coping mechanism.
